I loved working and volunteering with the kids and adults in the special needs community. All of the athletes we worked with at the Special Olympics events were very happy and loved to be there. I love that I was able to be a part of their joy and make a difference in their lives. They love to feel included and I'm glad I could be a part of that. You too can make a difference in the lives of these kids, all you have to do is visit the Special Olympics site(see places to visit) and find events near you.
